Apple Blossoms

I wish I could make this post scratch 'n sniff so that you could really appreciate the perfume in the air created by an apple orchard. The trees are in full bloom this week and it's pure heaven to walk among them. The trees are exuding the most heavenly scent! I can only speculate that this must be the closest I'll ever be to the Garden of Eden.

  1. There is nothing like walking through an orchard in full bloom. The sights, sounds (bees going nuts) and the aroma are delicious. Are these your trees? We have 12 apple trees growing around. Four of them were intentionally planted and the rest are growing where a seed dropped.

  4. Don, no, these trees are in the family orchard. It is a large orchard, I don't know how many acres it is but I'll find out! You should see them today! They're just beautiful!

  6. The apple trees belong to my cousin who runs the family orchard business. The orchard was planted by my great-grandfather. I don't know how many acres there are total but there are a lot of trees and new ones are planted regularly. Thanks everyone for enjoying the orchard with me!
