That's right folks! I am now the proud owner of a Cuisinart 1-1/2-Quart Automatic Ice Cream Maker--in "Arrest Me Red". Sweet.I've got the mixing container in the freezer where it will remain over night. I am deciding which ice cream recipe I want to try first but I'm leaning toward egg nog ice cream without the booze. I'm definitely going to try Alton Brown's various ice cream recipes, especially his avocado ice cream.
Then I'm going to try some frozen yogurt recipes, sherbet and custard. The possibilities are endless. Grab a spoon!

ReplyDeleteI've resisted buying one of those early death machines for years since we had ice cream made from one. OMG! Too much temptation for an ice cream lover like me! I'd eat it for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
AMY I AMMMM SOOOOOOO jealous! Norm bought an old ice cream maker at an auction....its old, little rusty...LOL but appeared to work! I'll find out ! Hey if not...I'm going to get me an icecream maker myself! I'm a sucker for homemade icecream! Yummm enjoy some for me too
