In other news, we are currently on day two of duck egg incubation. Daisy began to set the eggs in ernest yesterday. She's doing a fine job of covering all 14 of them (at least we think we can count 14!). She took a short break yesterday evening then got back to work.

Looks like a great day - and a happy kid. What fun to run a big piece of equipment.
ReplyDeleteWow! That would be neat. Definitely a blog and photo worthy event! hehe
ReplyDeleteHow lucky to be able to play with the real monster sized tractor and not the toy! Looks like he'd doing a terrific job, too. Did you get a turn behind the controls also?
It was neat how most of the water got sloshed back into the pond as the tractor bucket swung around. Did any fish get captured along with the mud and silt?

Looks like fun! I'd love to dig out our ponds a bit.
ReplyDeleteYou sure know the way to a boy's heart! He looks like he's having a ball!
ReplyDeleteHow fun for Derek! I am excited about your wood ducks. They are so pretty!
